Caitlin James

Mrs. Caitlin began her dance training at the age of two in her hometown of Hattiesburg, MS. At 13, she started competing in dance at On Your Toes Dance Studio in Petal, MS. Throughout high school and college, she attended summer intensives across the country, including programs at the Joffrey Ballet School, Broadway Dance Center, Millennium Dance Complex, Gus Giordano Dance School, and more.
In 2018, Mrs. Caitlin moved to Tuscaloosa to attend the University of Alabama, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Psychology. While at UA, she was a member of Dance Alabama! and the Dance Honor Society of Alabama, among other honors programs and student organizations. In 2020, she was selected to serve as a counselor for the American Ballet Theatre summer intensive in Tuscaloosa.
Mrs. Caitlin has been teaching dance to students of all ages since 2019. After graduating high school, she traveled to El Salvador to teach dance to children in local schools, bringing her training and passion abroad. Mrs. Caitlin has found her true calling in training and inspiring the next generation of dancers, and she cannot wait to instill her love of dance in your child!
