COVID-19 Policies and Safety Procedures
3D is committed to keeping our dancers safe during this unprecedented time. The studio will be taking a fact and data driven approach in regards to how to operate at the best capacity while also keeping the most recommended health procedures and guidelines at the forefront. Understanding that a virtual platform will be expected during this season, we look forward to providing exciting and unique content for our students. Educational opportunities that extend past physical movement will keep dancers engaged and entertained no matter the location. We thank our customers for their patience and understanding as we switch from in-person to virtual platforms as necessary.
Policies and Procedures
3D Virtual Platform: In the event that 3D classes must move to a ZOOM platform, all class levels and styles will be available for dancers to participate. In addition, the 3D Virtual Library is available for all dancers to continue their training with various options.
3D Mask Policy: 3D must adhere to the Tuscaloosa Mask Ordinance. All dancers ages 8+ must wear masks. Any parents/guardians that must enter the building must also wear a mask; however, there isn’t any loitering as the lobby closed. All dancers are encouraged to wear masks upon entrance/exit and during classes.
3D COVID19 Safety Procedures:
-
All studios have been blocked off into grids to allow social distancing.
-
Studios are cleaned and sanitized daily to ensure the most pristine conditions.
-
Water stations are not available on-site. Dancers must bring their own water bottles.
-
The lobby and dressing rooms are closed.
-
Dancers will not be required to change attire for classes. All bags with shoes can be brought into the studio and put in the designated spots.
-
Sanitation stations are at each entrance. Dancers are encouraged to also bring their own hand sanitizer to use after changing shoes.
-
Bathrooms are available to students only.
-
Dancers must be picked up promptly at the end of the class to prevent any unnecessary loitering.
-
Every effort will made to ensure that a dancer’s schedule keeps them in only one studio for the duration of their studio time on each designated day.
-
Dancers should not be dropped off anymore than 5 minutes before their first class.
-
Any student/family member that is exhibiting any illness symptoms should not come to the studio.
-
In the event it is brought to the attention of the 3D Faculty that a dancer/teacher has tested positive, the class will be informed so families can make the decisions that they wish.
-
Science driven data will determine if the studio operates in person versus virtually.
Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability as to Coronavirus:
The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19, is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. This disease has been found to present serious risks of personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. As a result, federal, state, and local governments and federal and state health agencies recommend social distancing, extra personal hygiene steps, and other measures. A number of guidelines and emergency declarations have been issued by the federal CDC and by the Governor’s administration in Alabama, and you should review these to understand what is being recommended for you to protect you and your family from COVID-19. 3D Dance has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, 3D Dance cannot guarantee that you or your child will not become infected with COVID-19. Furthermore, attending 3d Dance could increase your risk and your child’s risk of contracting COVID-19. By signing this agreement: (1) you acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and the serious risks presented by exposure to the disease; (2) you voluntarily assume the risk that you or your child may be exposed to COVID-19 by attending 3D Dance; and (3) you hereby waive any claim you may have on behalf of yourself or your child against 3D Dance arising from such risks. This waiver applies to any act or omission (whether negligent or not) by 3D Dance, its employees, agents, and representatives. I, the undersigned, voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks as to COVID-19 and accept sole responsibility therefrom for any injury to my child(ren) or myself, including, but not limited to, personal injury, illness, disability, death, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I or my child(ren) may experience or incur in connection with attendance at 3D Dance or participation in 3D Dance classes and events or activities, whether on or off the premises (hereafter, “COVID-19 Claims”). On behalf of myself and my child(ren), I hereby fully waive, release, discharge, hold harmless, and covenant not to sue 3D Dance, its employees, agents, and representatives from and as to COVID-19 Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any COVID-19 Claims based on any act or omission (whether negligent or not) by 3D Dance, its employees, agents, and representatives, and regardless whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any 3D Dance activities
